An interactive prototype for Chinese ancient architecture. It starts from the Amitabha Hall of Dayun Temple in Pingshun, Shanxi: turn the hall, take the timber apart, and learn the parts.

Problem
The timber under an ancient eave is hard to make out in a photo or a plan. The parts sit above eye level, and how they join is easy to lose in the whole building.
Feedback
The first hall is open: Dayun Temple’s Amitabha Hall, with a 3D breakdown, close looks at the components, and a short story walk.
Next step
Keep this hall open to turn, take apart, and set next to photographs of the building.
